Catholic Bishops of KY | 7-24-2020 Update

We are still having Mass at 11:45 am Sunday.

Masks are required for everyone age 5 or older in attendance. We’ve got hand sanitizer available at the entrances and plenty of soap and paper towels in our bathrooms. Communion is being distributed after Mass and we ask that you leave the chapel immediately after receiving. If you’re uncomfortable coming to Mass, are more vulnerable, or live with or care for those who are vulnerable please feel free to stay home and avail yourself of a live streamed or televised Mass. If you’re feeling ill, even if it’s something simple like nasal congestion or sinus congestion without a fever that could easily be the result of allergies or many other non Covid-19 things, please take care of yourself and stay home. ❤️

Message from Bishop John:

The Catholic Bishops of Kentucky conversed yesterday about the governor’s request to close churches for 2 weeks. We are concerned that this will lead to more confusion. We will continue to celebrate mass as we have been with all of the social distancing, sanitizing and mask usage. Anyone who feels uncomfortable coming to church should make use of the one of the live-streamed mass options at their parish or on the diocesan website.
